Bio
Dr Anupam Sharma graduated fromUniversity of Sydney in December 2006 with a Bachelors Degreein Veterinary Science. Thereafter, she worked as a qualified veterinarian ingeneral practice as well as emergency hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne andLondon Having travelled the world and having worked as a relief veterinarianworld-wide, Dr Sharma then underwent furtherstudies in Small Animal Medicine, soon becoming a member of Australia and NZ College ofVeterinary Scientists. More recently Dr Sharma acquired a Diploma of Management in2016.
In 2023 Dr Sharma acquired her certification via the InternationalAssociation of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC). The IAAHPCcertification is the first of its kind and presently it is the highest academicachievement in Veterinary Palliative Care. Dr Sharma is a certified Mental HealthFirst Aid Provider which allows her to be able to assist colleagues as well asclients with much needed emotional and psychologicalsupport in times of distress.
