Nick is the MD of Bova Aus and UK. Bova Compounding, founded in 2007, became one of Australia’s first standalone compounding facilities after the separation of the retail pharmacy he worked at in 2010. In 2017 Nick launched Bova UK, a Specials Manufacturer dedicated to bringing quality Specials Medications to the UK veterinary market. Apart from work, Nick is a martial arts expert, enjoys fitness and travel. He is a pet lover and owns a cat named Benjamin.

Andrew Rowe
Chief Operating Officer
Andrew’s career in pharmaceutical compounding began early, at just 15 years old, developing a deep, lifelong passion for the industry. Over a decade at Medisca, a global leader in compounding supplies, Andrew achieved significant milestones, including launching Medisca Compounding Supplies in Australia, now the country’s largest raw-ingredient supplier, and expanding operations into the UK and Europe. Most recently, Andrew has leveraged his expertise in healthcare consulting, delivering operational and strategic solutions across the sector.

Lizzie Barnard
Global Head of Marketing and Sustainability
Lizzie has over 10 years experience within the veterinary pharmaceutical industry in product management and marketing roles. Mainly in equine and small animal species. Before this Lizzie had a career in the horse racing industry working as a head girl for prolific trainers.
Lizzie is developing the Bova brand to ensure that the company is represented in a consistent manner across the veterinary industry.

Emma Jones
UK Sales Director
Emma began as a trainee nurse in a small practice in Dorset before completing her veterinary nursing training at Lynwood school. She progressed to head nurse in a larger clinic, where she worked for several years. In 2010, Emma moved into industry, first working with small animals and briefly with livestock, before focusing on her main passion, equine. She joined Bova in 2017, where she is now the UK Business Manager for the equine and companion business.

Asha Vasu
Aus Pharmacist in Charge – Quality Assurance Pharmacist
- Asha is the Pharmacist in Charge at Bova Australia, leading the pharmacist team and overseeing quality assurance in veterinary compounding. She joined Bova in 2005 and transitioned to compounding in 2009, developing a strong passion for creating tailored formulations—especially when commercial options aren’t available.Asha is responsible for developing new formulas, refining lab procedures, approving raw materials, and ensuring consistent quality across all operations. She values Bova’s collaborative and supportive team culture, which makes each day both meaningful and rewarding.

Madison Donley
Aus Operations Manager
Madison joined Bova Aus in 2013 and now holds a vital role as Operations Manager. The company prioritizes providing the highest quality veterinary compounding formulations to patients in need across Australia. Madison is responsible for all business operations, focusing on continuous improvement and staying ahead of the competition. She is excited about leading several projects in IT, facilities, products, and services to further the company’s success. Madison enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Shai Jordan
Aus National Sales Manager
Shai joined Bova in September 2024 as the National Sales Manager. He enjoys working in a positive environment with plenty of challenges and opportunities. Shai has a beautiful wife Kellie and two kids he adores Alice and Finn, one of which is starting Psychology at Monash which will come in handy for assessing her parents state of mind. They all share one dog Anoushka and two cats George and Audrey who are very much part of the family including having at least 5 additional names for each pet depending on the hour or the day.

Colin Bova
Director
Colin is a Director of Bova Aus with over 50 years of experience working for Bova Chemist. He opened the first Bova Chemist in Cronulla in 1968, and Nick Bova worked alongside him for many years before Bova Compounding separated in 2010. Colin currently checks scripts and works at Bova Aus headquarters, where he enjoys being with the young team. Colin is passionate about cycling and spends time at the Bova family alpaca farm with his pets outside of work.

- Belle joined Bova in 2023 as Marketing Assistant and a short while later took the role of Marketing Manager. Bringing extensive experience in marketing since 2006, starting in Wales before moving to Australia in 2009. Over the years, she’s held marketing and product management roles across FMCG, IT, office products, food and beverage, and hospitality.Passionate about creating impactful marketing campaigns, Belle loves working at Bova and making a real difference. She’s also a proud mum of two little humans and one cheeky cavoodle. Outside of work, Belle enjoys hiking, hitting the gym, reading at the beach, listening to audiobooks while cleaning, and exploring Australia’s stunning beaches.

Inna has been with Bova for just over a year and runs our Quality Control lab! She is responsible for coordinating the quality testing of our Quality Assured products, overseeing quality investigations, and works closely with our pharmacists to develop new product lines! When she is not at Bova, Inna spends time with her two Labradors, Boyd and Flint.

- Emily joined Bova in 2013 as a compounder in the liquid lab and quickly rose through the ranks to become Production Manager. She now oversees laboratory operations, procurement, and new product development, with a strong focus on facility operations and continuous improvement—enhancing everything from software and workflows to equipment.Driven and energetic, Emily thrives on keeping things moving, whether it’s improving processes at work or staying active through weekly tennis and netball games. Outside of work, she enjoys taking her dog Rufus to the beach, where he loves nothing more than a good swim.
Jade Hoffman

- Since joining Bova Aus in 2013, Jade has brought her vet nursing background to a variety of roles across the lab, procurement, and administration. Now as Administration Manager, she’s passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making sure clinics and vets receive the support they need.Outside of work, Jade enjoys hitting the gym, mountain biking when the weather’s right, and relaxing with a good movie. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her two energetic green cheek conures, Roy and Ted.

- Thanh originally joined Bova as a contractor, but his expertise quickly made him an essential part of the team, leading to a full-time role. With over 20 years of technical experience, he has significantly enhanced our security, data networks, and IT systems.Outside of work, Thanh enjoys hands-on projects and has a keen eye for car detailing—restoring every surface to perfection and making vehicles shine.

Amar is the Managing Director at Bova UK with over 17 years of experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile dosage forms. Amar has spent his career working in cGMP environment in various roles, managing formulation development, quality assurance, production, procurement, warehouse and distribution.

Sarah has been a member of the Bova team since November 2019 and looks after the Human Resources function at Bova UK. Her role is to maintain and develop effective internal procedures, handle employee-related issues, support recruiting and retention efforts, and keep performance at peak levels. In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend time with her friends and family and get creative with arts and crafts.

I am the Quality Control Manager, having 12 years of experience working in pharmaceutical GMP environment. Successfully completed trainings like Human error assessment, Quality by design, risk assessment, OOS/OOT and Corrective action and preventive action. I am happy to work for BOVA specials, as hands on experience on great number of specialised veterinary medicines. My aim is to deliver safe, consistent, and effective veterinary medicine to customer.

Nilesh Limbachiya
UK Quality Assurance Manager & WQP
Nilesh has over 12 years of experience working in MHRA approved, regulated Pharma company. Started career in Gujarat, India as a microbiologist and worked for a multi-speciality hospital before coming to the UK. Nilesh has broader experience in GMP and GDP operation and is MHRA registered Responsible person, and VMD registered WQP.
In his free time, he likes watching TV, reading, writing, and photography.

Philip Hoare

Phil has over 16 years experience in pharmaceuticals and has worked in both sterile and nonsterile environments. He believes in mentoring and coaching to empower his team as well as continuous improvement throughout the operation. Phil has numerous qualifications including Pharmaceutical Engineering Advanced Training and is a six-sigma black belt.
