BOVA AUS Proudly Continues Partnership with Vets for Climate Action in 2026

BOVA AUS is delighted to continue its partnership with Vets for Climate Action (VfCA) in 2026, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing sustainability in veterinary care across Australia and New Zealand.

Together, BOVA AUS and VfCA are working toward a future where animals, people, and the planet can thrive in a healthy climate.

Leading the Way in Sustainable Practice

BOVA AUS continues to demonstrate that practical, achievable sustainability solutions are possible within the animal health industry. Recent research shows that 59% of veterinarians identify a “lack of solutions from the animal health industry” as the greatest barrier to sustainability, an obstacle BOVA is actively working to overcome through innovation and leadership.

Recent sustainability milestones include:

  • Completion of an IIE Silver sustainability audit, with BOVA’s UK operations receiving a runner-up award for waste reduction
  • Trials of innovative packaging solutions, including wool insulation alternatives for temperature-controlled shipments
  • Operational improvements such as expanded recycling programs, waste management plans, and a transition toward renewable energy at Cronulla-based sites
  • Comprehensive supply chain analysis aimed at reducing environmental impact
  • A clear and ongoing commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050
