Bio

Chris is both an RCVS Specialist and a European Specialist in Small Animal Cardiology, working at Paragon Veterinary Referrals in Yorkshire. He helped develop the busiest interventional cardiology service in the UK before joining Paragon Veterinary Referrals in 2021 where he is Head of the Cardiology team. 

Chris has a strong interest and love for postgraduate teaching and development, as well as being an examiner for the Certificate and Diploma-level cardiology qualifications in UK/Europe. Chris also has strong ties with the charity Animals Asia in Chengdu, China and is involved with investigating heart disease in moon bears rescued from the bile-farming trade and helping to improve their health and general well-being.
