Meet Tink
Age: 10 months
Breed: Devon Rex
Diagnosis: Effusive (wet) form
Tink had historically been an active and snuggly kitten, but very suddenly became more snuggly than usual sleeping all the time and then progressed to not eating as much or as quickly as she had been. For a kitten that had been food obsessed this was a red flag so we went to the vet where Dr David was so kind and understanding.
He did all the testing and advised it was looking like Wet FIP.
He provided us with all the information and reading on it and answered all the questions.
When the diagnosis was confirmed he was immediately sourcing medications for Tink.
Within days of starting medication she was starting to show signs of her normal self.
Playing, chatting to the wild birds and back to eating.
She is now in the early stages of remission and we are so thankful to the quick thinking of Dr David and his team and the ongoing support they have given Tink and I.
