Treatment of bacterial endometritis (2023)
Overview
In this webinar, James Crabtree of Equine Reproductive Services (UK) Ltd. explores the use of antimicrobials in managing bacterial endometritis. He begins with a brief overview of the condition’s pathophysiology and the principles of the prescribing cascade.
The session will focus on selecting appropriate antimicrobial therapies, comparing local intrauterine versus systemic routes. James will share practical tips on what can be used safely, what requires caution, and what should be avoided, helping practitioners make informed, responsible choices in equine reproductive care.
