Overview
As veterinarians become more familiar with behavioural medicine, they reach for medications more for pets with behavioural issues such as anxiety and reactivity. This has meant that clonidine usage has increased.
This webinar will cover why clonidine can be useful, how to use it, when to use it, where it may be useful and why.

Dr Kersti Seksel
Dr Kersti Seksel is a Sydney University veterinary graduate who also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioural Science (majoring in Psychology) and a Master of Arts (Hons) by thesis.
She is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists, and a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine.
Kersti is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland, Adjunct Associate Professor at Charles Sturt University, and the Head Tutor for the Distance Education Course in Behavioural Medicine at the Centre for Veterinary Education, University of Sydney. She also teaches undergraduate veterinary students at the University of Sydney.
A sought-after speaker, Kersti presents nationally and internationally, both in person and via Zoom. She has authored numerous textbook chapters, the book Training Your Cat, and is a regular radio presenter and consultant on VIN.
Kersti is also the creator of the widely adopted Puppy Preschool® and Kitten Kindy® programs.
