How to Manage Equine Obesity (2021)

Overview

Obesity remains one of the most frustrating and widespread challenges faced by equine veterinarians. It’s not just about recognising the issue—it’s also about helping owners understand and change their behaviour.

This webinar draws on findings from a three-year study into horse owners’ perceptions of body condition and weight management, combined with key principles from behaviour change theory and human psychology.

By applying these insights, the session offers practical tools to support more effective and empathetic conversations with clients—turning difficult discussions into meaningful progress.
