Brett Davidson
National Sales Manager
Brett is the National Sales Manager at Bova Aus and has worked there for a decade. He values the hardworking team and close relationships with clients he has built over the years. Brett enjoys cycling and spending time at the beach with his family. His British Shorthair cat, Charlie, fits perfectly into their busy lifestyle with his simple routine of eating and sleeping.
Kylie Clarke
National Key Account Manager
Kylie joined Bova in March 2021 as the Queensland Key Account Manager. She enjoys working with the friendly and welcoming team and is impressed by the facility’s care and quality. Kylie loves spending time with her family and has a passion for horses. She has three horses, and her family also includes two dogs, two cats, two rats, a blue tongue lizard, and lots of fish. Kylie sees animals as part of her family, and their individuality and companionship always bring a smile to her face.
Lana Shepherd
National Key Account Manager
Lana joined Bova in 2015 and has worked in various departments before settling in the Sales Team. She takes pride in making medication easier for clients and their pets, which she knows firsthand as a pet owner herself. Lana has a family of pets that includes Clyde the cat, Axel the dog, Bunny Foo Foo the rabbit, and Milo and Mocha the guinea pigs. She hopes to continue growing her pet family.
Allison O’Neill
National Key Account Manager
Allison is a Key Account Manager at Bova Aus since 2019. Despite her years of experience in the Animal Health Industry, she learns something new every day at Bova. She loves the variety of solutions available for medicating animals, making it a more pleasant experience for everyone involved. Outside of work, Allison enjoys catching up with friends, eating out, and training her Dressage horses. She also has two Tenterfield Terriers, Mojo and Minnie, with distinct personalities.
Colin Bova
Director
Colin is a Director of Bova Aus with over 50 years of experience working for Bova Chemist. He opened the first Bova Chemist in Cronulla in 1968, and Nick Bova worked alongside him for many years before Bova Compounding separated in 2010. Colin currently checks scripts and works at Bova Aus headquarters, where he enjoys being with the young team. Colin is passionate about cycling and spends time at the Bova family alpaca farm with his pets outside of work.

Asha Vanu
Pharmacist in Charge – Quality Assurance Pharmacist
Asha is the Pharmacist in Charge at Bova Aus, where she oversees quality assurance and has a background in compounding. Having started in the Bova retail pharmacy in 2005, she moved to compounding in 2009 and is passionate about creating formulations for pets and animals with conditions for which commercial medications are unavailable. Asha particularly enjoys the friendly and supportive team spirit at Bova, making work feel like a pleasure.
Aaron Talbot
Head of Human Resources
I’ve been part of the Bova Family since April 2019 in the role of the Human Resources Manager for Bova Aus. I oversee the Human Resources Department and I’m passionate about giving our people the best experience possible and driving our competitive advantage through a productive and engaged workforce. Being part of the Bova Family has been the most enjoyable time in my career. In my spare time, I love spending time with my friends, my son, and my wife.
Nick Bova
Chief Executive Officer
Nick is the MD of Bova Aus and UK. Bova Compounding, founded in 2007, became one of Australia’s first standalone compounding facilities after the separation of the retail pharmacy he worked at in 2010. In 2017 Nick launched Bova UK, a Specials Manufacturer dedicated to bringing quality Specials Medications to the UK veterinary market. Apart from work, Nick is a martial arts expert, enjoys fitness and travel. He is a pet lover and owns a cat named Benjamin.
Madison Donley
Operations Manager
Madison joined Bova Aus in 2013 and now holds a vital role as Operations Manager. The company prioritizes providing the highest quality veterinary compounding formulations to patients in need across Australia. Madison is responsible for all business operations, focusing on continuous improvement and staying ahead of the competition. She is excited about leading several projects in IT, facilities, products, and services to further the company’s success. Madison enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
Lizzie Barnard
Head of Marketing
Lizzie has over 10 years experience within the veterinary pharmaceutical industry in product management and marketing roles. Mainly in equine and small animal species. Before this Lizzie had a career in the horse racing industry working as a head girl for prolific trainers.
Lizzie is developing the Bova brand to ensure that the company is represented in a consistent manner across the veterinary industry.
Inna Salamakha
QC Manager
Inna has been with Bova for just over a year and runs our Quality Control lab! She is responsible for coordinating the quality testing of our Quality Assured products, overseeing quality investigations, and works closely with our pharmacists to develop new product lines! When she is not at Bova, Inna spends time with her two Labradors, Boyd and Flint.
Thanh P. Tran
IT Manager - Infrastructure & Security
Thanh started at Bova as a contractor but proved very quickly that we needed him full-time! He bought with him over 20 years of technical experience and within the year he has been signed on, he has completely overhauled and improved our security measures, data networks and computing software!
Adryon Zafra
Technical Manager - Facilities & Equipment
Adryon is the Technical Officer at Bova Aus and has been there since 2018. He enjoys the dynamic and challenging environment that constantly pushes him out of his comfort zone. Adryon finds fulfillment in helping to provide aid to animals and enjoys the workplace culture at Bova. Outside of work, he likes being active, watching sports (especially the AFL), and being spontaneous. Adryon adopted a Great Dane cross named Charlie from the RSPCA, and loves how his energy brings happiness to those around him.
Emily Szafrenek
Production Manager
Emily has climbed the ranks at Bova in almost 4 years, now overseeing 100+ staff in the laboratory, procurement, and new product development. She began as a compounder in the liquid lab and has since taken on impressive responsibilities. Emily is a proud dog mom to her British Bulldog, Rufus.
Jade Hoffman
Administration Manager
Jade has been at Bova for a massive 9 years, starting from the ground and working her way up, Jade has made her mark in almost every department at Bova, from compounding medication to online customer service. She now uses her expensive experience to lead our highly successful administration team.
